Our mission is to bring together students who are interested in space, technology and engineering. As well as supporting student team entries into national space and engineering competitions, we offer a whole range of events including talks with industry experts, discussion and networking evenings, specialist guest lectures, a tailored training program, collaborations with other societies, and regular socials!

OUR RELATED CCA PROJECTS

SunSat Team

Project SunSat is a student led satellite development team consisting of students from the University of Sheffield. SunSat aims to have a student designed and built experiment in orbit by 2025. In order to achieve this goal, the SunSat team needs experience and heritage in experiment and satellite design.

SunStratos Team

Sheffield University Stratosphere Programme (SunStratos) is a student-led research group within the University of Sheffield. It is a group of 21 undergraduates from various kinds of engineering. Their aim is to design a foldable wing mechanism to be incorporated into a High Altitude Long Endurance (HALE) fixed-wing UAV.
