Sheffield University Stratosphere Programme (SunStratos) is a student-led research group within the University of Sheffield. It is a group of 21 undergraduates from various kinds of engineering. Their aim is to design a foldable wing mechanism to be incorporated into a High Altitude Long Endurance (HALE) fixed-wing UAV.
Project SunSat is a student led satellite development team consisting of students from the University of Sheffield. SunSat aims to have a student designed and built experiment in orbit by 2025. In order to achieve this goal, the SunSat team needs experience and heritage in experiment and satellite design.
